Theft claims for non-immobilizer cars
Summary
Multistate program provides zinc sleeve installs and compensation for eligible Hyundai and Kia vehicles without immobilizers. Up to $4,500 for total loss, $2,250 partial loss, or $375 theft-attempt expenses. Theft/attempt must occur after April 29, 2025 and before zinc sleeve install or by March 31, 2027. Funds are limited and paid until exhausted.
Who qualifies
Owners of listed Hyundai/Kia models lacking immobilizers where a qualifying theft/attempt occurred after April 29, 2025 and before zinc sleeve install or by March 31, 2027; software upgrade installed or appointment scheduled at time of incident.
Suits does not handle payments or process claims. Payments are issued by the claim administrator and typically take 3-6 months.
