Summary
ABC Legal Services agreed to a $2,500,000 settlement over a data security incident that began around August 7, 2024 and potentially exposed personal information. ABC denies wrongdoing. Claimants may receive a pro rata cash payment (estimated $50, up to $450), up to $5,000 for documented losses, and/or two years of credit monitoring.
Who qualifies
U.S. residents whose personal information was potentially compromised in the ABC Legal Services data incident discovered in November 2024, including anyone who received notice. ABC, its affiliates, the presiding judges, and those who opt out are excluded.
Suits does not handle payments or process claims. Payments are issued by the claim administrator and typically take 3-6 months.
