About this settlement

TCPA robocall settlement for non-accountholder cell numbers called

Summary

Alexis Seals sued Concora Credit Inc., alleging it violated the TCPA by placing artificial or prerecorded voice calls to cellular telephones not belonging to Concora accountholders, without prior express consent. Concora agreed to pay $9,375,000 to settle the claims, including $8,375,000 into a settlement fund for class members and $1,000,000 for TCPA compliance improvements. Approved class members who submit a valid claim will receive an equal share of the fund after deducting notice/administration costs, attorneys' fees, litigation costs, and an incentive award. The settlement administrator estimates each approved claimant will receive between $250 and $650, though the amount depends on the total number of valid claims filed.

Who qualifies

You are a settlement class member if you are a person in the United States to whom Concora Credit Inc. placed, or caused to be placed, a call using an artificial or prerecorded voice, directed to a cellular telephone number that was not assigned to a Concora Credit Inc. accountholder. The call must have occurred between May 2, 2021 and May 31, 2026. Concora accountholders who received such calls on their own accounts are not part of this settlement class.

Suits does not handle payments or process claims. Payments are issued by the claim administrator and typically take 3-6 months.
